In this purple house, my aunt and uncle give me a place to sleep at night. Together with my niece, we make sure that the house is clean and that the water bowl is full and ready to be used for cooking.
This room turns into the bedroom at night time. Here, my niece and I take our sleep after a long day. My aunt and uncle sleep in the room at the right side.
Almost no kid in kovalam has a bicycle. But I got one, and every morning, me and Ramesh ride to school together. The rest of the kids at SISP walk to school, or get picked up by the blue school bus.
The playground at SISP is a good place to play volleyball, cricket or hide and seek. The first door on the right side is Paul's office. Paul, the founder of SISP, is always willing to help us with various problems.
The NGO-school SISP is my second home. If my friends and I go to SISP during the week, we receive a ticket to participate the Kovalam surfclub and the Kovalam skateclub during the weekends for free.
If we go to school, we get three plates of good tasting food. It exsists of rice, curry and some vegetables most of the time. But.. tuesday is chicken curry day. My favorite meal!
We always play volleyball inbetween clases and after school. It's my favorite game.
Besides learning how to surf, the Kovalam surfclub created a fun community around surfing. Before, kids who grew up in the harbour where fisherman, now they love to say they are surfers.
This is the shop of my aunt, we sell a lot of handicrafted products to tourists. I'm working here after school, and most of the time I can finish all my homework at the cash-desk.

We gave Manoj the possibility to be our personal photographer for 150 rupees a month by using the camera we left him.
